2015 Shaw BBQ for Hope
On Saturday, April 11, 2015 the Sean Nicol Legacy Fund we held the third annual Shaw BBQ for Hope fundraiser. With the support of our amazing sponsors, ticket buyers and generous donors we raised just under $9,200!
Thank you to everyone who attended or supported our event. Thank you to the Selkirk Legion and their awesome volunteers without whom this event would not have been possible.
A special thank you to Chris Fenske, for introducing the Sean Nicol Legacy Fund to those in attendance, and to Conor Lloyd, for being our MC. Thank you to all the friends and family who helped with set-up and take down.

Supporting the Sean Nicol Legacy Fund
The proceeds of the Shaw BBQ for Hope will be invested in to the Sean Nicol Legacy Fund, a perpetual endowment fund held and professionally managed by the Selkirk and District Community Foundation. The investment income the fund generates is used to make targeted grants to those programs and organizations that are bringing hope and opportunity to people in our region (Selkirk, St. Andrews and St. Clements) by supporting fair access to safe housing, nutritious food, education and a livelihood.
