2013 Shaw BBQ for Hope

On Saturday, April 13, 2013 the Sean Nicol Legacy Fund held it’s first major fundraiser. With overwhelming support of sponsors, ticket buyers and generous donors we raised just over $9,200!

The Sean Nicol Legacy Fund Planning Committee would like to thank everyone who attended or provided support for our inaugural event. Thank you to the Selkirk Legion and their amazing volunteers without whom this event would not have been possible.

Thank you to Donna Maxwell of the Selkirk Record and Brook Jones of the Selkirk Journal for their wonderful articles (which you can read in our News section). Thank you for helping us let the community know about our event – and about the Sean Nicol Legacy Fund.

Thank you to Kris Pellaers for giving the first “Toast to Sean” and to Kyle Swystun for introducing the Sean Nicol Legacy Fund to those in attendance. Thank you to all the friends and family who helped set-up and take down.

We would also like to thank our sponsors and rainbow auction prize donors. Please support those who have so generously supported us.
